These American and European artists share a legacy that connects them to the Holocaust and the Nazi Era and have expressed their thoughts and feelings through the powerful media of art and music. The art exhibit includes statements from each artist, telling us who they are, what happened to them and to their parents as a result of the Holocaust and the Nazi Regime, how their art has helped them cope with their histories and what they wish to express to the viewer.

One by One members who are professional singers and musicians offer exciting concerts which reflect the joys, hopes and sorrows of the Jewish people. Audiences have expressed their appreciation for the outstanding Klezmer music as well as for the folk, theater and art songs presented in Yiddish, Hebrew, Ladino and English by these well-known recording artists.

One by One offers the public educational videos, speakers, and the opportunity for community involvement in creating a multimedia, educational experience for people of all ages.

One by One has produced a multimedia event which includes an art exhibit, poetry readings, drama and music which was featured at the RICA gallery in Housatonic, Massachusetts; The Puffin Room Gallery in New York City and in Teaneck, New Jersey; Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts; the Ballhaus in Berlin, Germany and the Casa delle Letterature in Rome, Italy.

The work of One By One artists was featured in an exhibit in Rome, Italy from January through February 2001. The exhibit was under the auspices of La Rete D'indra, which also sponsored educational videos and panel discussions with One By One members about fascism, war and genocide.
